An elderly gent was invited to an old friend's home for dinner one evening. He was impressed by the way his buddy preceded every request to his wife with endearing terms such as: Darling, Honey, My Love, Pumpkin, Sweetheart, etc..
 
The couple had been married almost 70 years and, clearly, they were still very much in love.
 
While the wife was in the kitchen, the man leaned over to his host, and said: "I think it's wonderful that, after all these years, you still call your wife those loving pet names."
 
The old man hung his head. "I have to tell you the truth," he said. "Her name slipped my mind about 10 years ago, -- and I'm scared to death to ask the old bitch what it is."

new post

yup im back here to write down my inner most thoughts... well not really just thought i would type in some stuff...

first off the new job is going good, at least they said they are happy with my progress... i dont think im doing good because i hate asking questions, it makes me feel like an idiot but oh well, if you dont ask you wont know...

so good news on the basketball front, tmac started 5 on 5 stuff so maybe he might be ready by the start of the season... sweet, dont sleep on the rockets this year they will fight all season long and ill take that...

lets see what else is going on... ummm i saw halloween 2 last wekeend and michael myers was all kinds of pissed off... he butchered the hell out of people... it was aight, very weird... also before that i developed some cough crap that will not go away, im taking all kinds of meds and it seems to get worse, i think i have swine flu again lol... and this new job stuff is stressing me out a bit because im trying to learn all taht i can fast so that i feel like im carrying my own you know...

well short and sweet today so ill ttyl

oh yea my positive thing for the day (i got it from scrubs):
things rarely go exactly how you want them to, so sometimes you make due with whatever you can get, endings are never easy, im not sure why it matters to me how things end.... i guess its becaues we all want to believe what we do is very important and that people hang onto our every word, that they care what we think: the truth is you should consider yourself lucky if you occasionally if you get to make someone, anyone feel alittle bit better. after that its all about the people you let into your life
